Nice little and great place, I greatly enjoyed welcoming personnel.

The rooms were cheap and fantastic with bathroom. Extras like an electric kettle, climate control, and an individual safe were appreciated. The location was marvellous and brilliant, you can visit Sultan's Palace by walking...

Beautiful little hotel, we appreciated it.

also, location was good, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from sultan's palace. it was also so close to the historic stone town, food market, and all the main sights of stone town.

    architectural charm
    central location
    maintenance issues

The location puts you right in the thick of Stone Town's vibrant pulse, giving easy access to local sights and sounds. Unique architectural details in the hotel create a charming atmosphere, setting it apart from other places I've been to.

Stains on the towels and sheets don't exactly scream clean, and not having fresh towels during a three-night stay is frustrating. The air conditioning is a mixed bag. It either throws ice-cold blasts or feels nonexistent. Lastly, power outages can strike, catching guests off guard.

Absolutely great place for one night. New building and rooms with bathroom. The breakfast with options for vegetarians. The location in the middle of Zanzibar.

    decent-sized room

I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Double Room and the room was decent-sized. The air conditioning was a lifesaver! It's nice having a shared bathroom that was always clean. The best part? The location is perfect, super close to the fish market. Definitely felt at home thanks to the cute staff. Breakfast was tasty too, with just enough options to keep it interesting.

    hard bed

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the vibrant night food market. The staff is friendly and helpful, making me feel at home . The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities struck me, especially since I'm a solo female traveler and value safety and hygiene.

The bed was quite hard, which may not be comfortable for everyone.

    central location
    clean facilities
    inconsistent air conditioning
    power outages
    room discomfort

The location stands out, being just a stone's throw from the heart of the city and popular dining spots. Shared facilities were clean, and breakfast choices, particularly the vegetarian options, were enjoyable. The air conditioning was inconsistent was nice, and the hotel experienced a few power outages . While the minor issues detracted slightly from the experience, the overall charm and accessibility of the area create a nice visit.

    will certainly stay here again.

The room had a comfy bed, private bathroom, and a refrigerator with complimentary drinks. I loved the tea/coffee maker and electric kettle. Breakfast was plentiful with traditional options. The location was central, near the night market. Jackson, the manager, was super helpful, even going shopping with us!
